About Guyana

One of the most striking aspects of Guyana is its diverse population, a reflection of its complex history. The country’s population comprises people of East Indian, African, Amerindian, Chinese, and European descent. This mix results from a history of colonization and the importation of indentured labourers from various parts of the world.
