About Caribbean Medical Schools

CaribbeanMedicalSchools.com is an independent portal helping international students research, compare, and shortlist Caribbean medical schools.

Our mission

Choosing a Caribbean medical school is one of the highest-stakes decisions a prospective doctor will make. The information is fragmented, marketing-heavy, and often out of date. We built CaribbeanMedicalSchools.com to be the neutral, well-sourced starting point for that decision - a place where accreditation status, tuition, clinical rotation networks, USMLE outcomes, and residency Match data sit side by side, dated, and verifiable.

What we stand for

Independent

We are not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any medical school. Schools cannot pay for a higher ranking, a verified badge, or edits to their profile.

Source-first

Every material claim is checked against a primary source - the school itself, an accreditor, or a government registry - and dated on the profile.

Student-focused

We write for prospective students and their families. Our comparisons highlight what actually matters for licensure and residency, not marketing gloss.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions - what we cover, how we rank comparisons, which claims we verify - are made by our editors alone. When we run advertising, sponsored placements, or lead-generation partnerships with schools, those units are visually distinct and labeled. They never determine the content of a profile or the outcome of a comparison. Our full sourcing and verification workflow lives on the methodology page.

Who we are not

  • We are not a medical school and cannot admit, enroll, or graduate students.
  • We are not an accrediting body. Accreditation status comes from CAAM-HP, ACCM, NVAO, and other recognized accreditors.
  • We are not an admissions agency. We do not charge students for placement.
  • We are not a licensing authority. Licensing decisions rest with ECFMG, state medical boards, and equivalent bodies in Canada, the UK, and elsewhere.

How we're funded

The site is funded through advertising, clearly labeled sponsored content, and lead-generation partnerships where a prospective student explicitly asks to be introduced to a school. We do not sell reader data. Any partnership that would create a conflict of interest with the editorial mission is declined.
