Accreditation:

University of Medicine and Health Sciences learners are qualified to sit for the United States Medical Licensing Examinations due to the IMED and WHO AVICENNA listings.

Due to the IMED recognition and accreditation, learners at UMHS are qualified to sit for the United States Medical Licensing Examinations. Graduate students who have efficiently approved Step 1 and Step 2 CK and CS of the USMLE may be qualified for ECFMG certification. USMLE Phase 3 is taken after graduations.
